When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you choose to provide. When you buy or sell, we collect transaction details needed to process payments and payouts. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
For verification, sellers may upload transcripts, offer letters, or other documents. We extract only the information needed to issue a badge (such as course, professor, and grade), then delete the original document. Human staff review documents only when flagged for abuse or errors.
Buyers remain anonymous to sellers. Sellers do not receive the names or email addresses of buyers. Communications and disputes are handled through the platform.
We use standard security measures to protect your data, and we retain information only as long as needed for legal, operational, or fraud-prevention purposes. You may request deletion of your account by contacting support@meetprecedent.com.
